Return, Refund and Exchange Policy

(a) If you wish to cancel your order, please contact Legenda customer service. As Legenda tries to process orders immediately, it may not always be possible to prevent an order from being dispatched.

(b) If you are not satisfied with the quality of a product you purchased, please contact our customer service team and they will assist with replacing the product.

(d) Once Legenda has dispatched products to you, you will not be able to cancel any additional services carried out by Legenda at your request, such as gift wrapping. As soon as Legenda receives notice of cancellation for a product, Legenda will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that product.

(e) Where Legenda agrees that products can be returned, credit card refunds will be applied to the same credit card within 20 business days. If you paid cash on delivery, you will need to visit a Legenda bookstore to have your refund processed.

(f) Legenda reserves the right to refuse a refund where it is clear that goods have been used, packaging has been tampered with, goods are no longer in original packaging, or such refund would be prohibited by law or regulation.

(g) All pre-order transactions done online or in store are not eligible for exchange or refund.

(h) Legenda reserves the right to limit selected promotional orders to a maximum of 2 units per order.

(i) Books can be exchanged within 3 days of purchase date if the book remains in brand new condition and is accompanied by the original receipt or order confirmation email.

(j) If you would like to exchange a product, you will need to visit a Legenda bookstore branch to have your exchange processed.

(k) Products on sale or discount cannot be refunded or exchanged.

(l) Legenda Gift Vouchers expire 5 months from issuance date.

Cancellation Policy

You are entitled to cancel your order within 24 hours before the product is out for delivery, without giving a reason. To exercise your right of cancellation, inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement.

The phone number is available from 9:00am to 5:00pm. We will reimburse no later than 1 day from the day on which we receive the returned goods, using the website wallet where applicable, with no fees incurred for such reimbursement.

Introduction

(b) These terms set out the relationship between Legenda Bookstore and you, the terms on which Legenda provides the website, the terms on which products are sold through the website, and general terms applicable to your use of the website and purchase of products. You may not use the website or purchase products if you do not agree to these terms.

(c) These terms are effective from 01 April 2020. Legenda may change these terms at any time by posting an updated version on the website. Your continued use of the website constitutes consent to the terms.

(d) Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Your Profile

(a) You will need to register with Legenda Bookstore to purchase products using the website. You may register an account or purchase products only if your membership has not previously been withdrawn or suspended by Legenda.

(b) You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account username and password and for preventing unauthorized access to your profile. Inform Legenda immediately if you believe your username or password has become known to anyone else or is likely to be used in an unauthorized manner.

(c) By entering information, you warrant that the details you provide are correct and complete and agree to inform Legenda of changes to those details. You can access and update your details through My Account.

(d) You will not be charged for registering an account, browsing, or posting content. You are responsible for paying for products purchased, tax where applicable, and delivery costs.

(e) Legenda reserves the right to refuse access, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its discretion.

Products

(a) Legenda is not the manufacturer of products and services sold through the website. Legenda does its best to ensure information is accurate but does not warrant that it is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. You should read labels, warnings, and directions provided with products or services.

(b) Legenda has made every effort to display colors, specifications, and dimensions accurately. Actual colors may depend on your monitor. Legenda may vary dimensions, specifications, and quantities displayed on the website without prior notice.

Orders and Payment

(a) When you place an order, Legenda collects certain personal and transactional information. For details, read the Privacy Policy.

(b) You may pay online by credit or debit card through the secure order form or by cash on delivery. Legenda cannot accept cheques, paper gift vouchers, or similar payment methods on the website.

(c) When you place your order, Legenda asks your card issuer for authorization. Receipt of card details and debit of payment does not constitute Legenda acceptance of your order.

(d) Some products are pre-order products. Release dates are provided by suppliers and may change without notice. Once a pre-order is placed, the card may be charged and the product reserved when stock is received.

(e) Legenda accepts product orders subject to availability. If products are unavailable, Legenda may offer an alternative product of equivalent quality and price or cancel that product from your order and issue a refund.

(f) Products are invoiced in JOD at the price prevailing when you place your order. If a price error is discovered, Legenda will contact you to confirm at the correct price or cancel the order.

(g) If you order products, you agree to pay the full amount indicated during checkout, including shipping costs and other applicable charges. If card authorization is refused, Legenda may cancel the order and contact you for an alternative payment method.

(h) It is your responsibility to keep track of order status.

(i) Please do not send payment information by email.

(j) Unless Legenda acts fraudulently or negligently, Legenda is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access to personal and transactional information provided when placing an order.

(k) Legenda Bookstore may cancel any order fully or partially if the order contains more than 2 pieces of the same item.

If you are under 18, you acknowledge and warrant that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the website and purchase products.

Delivery

(a) Deliveries are made between Sunday and Thursday and may be undertaken by a third party appointed by Legenda. If products are not delivered within the specified period, contact customer service quoting your order reference.

(b) Delivery occurs when products are delivered to the address specified when placing your order. Responsibility for loss, breakage, and damage passes to you at delivery. Ownership passes when payment is received in full.

(c) If you are not at the delivery address, Legenda may assume adults present are authorized to accept delivery. If no one is present, Legenda will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery time.

(d) Delivery people deliver products to your front door.

(e) Legenda does not deliver to residences outside Jordan.

(f) If you use foreign credit or debit cards, banks may charge international transaction fees. Legenda is not responsible for bank charges or currency conversion rates applied by banks.

Use of the Website

You must not use the website for illegal activities, spam, technical damage, viruses, unauthorized access, overburdening the website, unauthorized links or framing, commercializing content, changing or republishing content, disclosing contact details in prohibited website areas, or placing orders under a false name or without consent of the cardholder.

User Content and Behaviour

You are responsible for complying with legal requirements in your jurisdiction and for any user content you make available through the website. Legenda may refuse, edit, or remove user content and does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of user content.

Losses

Legenda is not responsible for business loss, consequential loss, or losses not directly caused by Legenda actions. To the extent permitted by law, Legenda liability under these terms will not exceed the total price charged for products purchased. Nothing excludes liability for personal injury or death caused by Legenda negligence.

Security

If you are dissatisfied with the website, your remedy is to discontinue use. Legenda takes reasonable precautions but does not warrant that the website is virus free or always available. Access may be restricted or suspended for repairs, maintenance, or new services.

Links to Third Party Sites

The website may contain links to other websites. Legenda is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or other practices of third party websites.

Suspending and Terminating Your Account
